Terms and Conditions

1. These conditions apply in relation to item(s) supplied by us the seller to you the buyer. Exclusion of all other terms and conditions, including any terms or conditions which the buyer may apply under any purchase order confirmation or similar document. All orders for goods by you the buyer and acceptance of the goods in person or by delivery shall be deemed conclusive evidence of the buyer’s acceptance of these conditions.
   1. Most vehicles and parts off vehicles sold by us are auto salvage, are second-hand and sold as such. Whilst we wish to give good value to our customers we cannot guarantee each part to be absolutely perfect and this is reflected in our prices when they are compared to brand new ones.
2. ENGINE:
   Any warranty offered covers the block, cylinder head and their associated parts only. It does NOT apply to ancillary items which may be still attached i.e. Manifolds, sump, water pump, diesel injection pump, injection systems, gaskets, oil and water seals, turbo(s), distributor, sensors, pulleys and sprockets. We also recommend at your own expense, you replace any oil filters, flush the engine and replace with suitable oil and any other required fluids specified by your vehicles manufacturer. Spark plugs, glow plugs, ignition leads should also be replaced as we cannot guarantee when such items were last changed.
3. GEARBOX: Any warranty offered covers just the gearbox only. It does NOT apply to ancillary items which may be still attached.
   1. Unless stated, we cannot guarantee any mileage of any engine or gearbox that we supply.
   2. Engines and gearboxes supplied by us must be serviced according to the manufactures guidelines. Failure to comply will deem any warranty void.
4. ANY WARRANTY OFFERED IS VOID IF NEW CAMBELTS ARE NOT FITTED BEFORE RUNNING THE ENGINE - ‘PROOF OF WHICH MUST BE OBTAINED’ (THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO ENGINES FITTED WITH TIMING CHAINS.)
5. ALL PARTS: We will always try to supply the exact part that our customers require. Due to variations in make, model, design, and years of manufacture, it is important that you make sure that the item required is correct. Sales are made on the strict understanding that the customer is responsible for making sure the parts bought are correct for the purpose required. Incorrectly ordered parts shall be subject to a 20% handling charge, and any carriage costs incurred by us. In the event that the part purchased is not correct for the particular vehicle we will attempt to replace the part with the correct one if notified within 72 hours. Any part(s) required to be sent back to us you the customer will pay for all postal or delivery charges back to us and any monies owed to you the customer (if any) will only be re-funded ONLY when we have received the item or items back to us and we are satisfied that your complaint is justified.
   1. If after the sale or supply of a unit from this company a fault develops, then this company reserves the right to conduct a mechanical investigative examination – the purpose of which is to safeguard us the seller and you the customer/purchaser and to identify any subsequent liability.
   2. Any part which is found to be faulty, substandard or unserviceable which was supplied by us and not in the description of sale will be exchanged, repaired or money refunded provided we receive notification within 60 days of purchase or delivery. These terms of exchange do not adhere to every purchase, certain circumstances no warranty is offered at time of purchase and any offer of exchange, repair or refund will NOT be available. Any replacement, repair or refund will only occur providing any part supplied by us to you the customer has NOT been subject to misuse, alteration or any form of damage and is in the same condition as when it left us.
   3. We reserve the right to undertake an initial inspection of any part or parts returned to us that you the customer says is not working in accordance to the description that the item or items were sold to you. We acknowledge the right to do so on the terms that if a dispute arises – or may arise – We will commission the services of an independent engineer to establish the cause of the fault and to see if indeed we sold you a faulty item at time of purchase. If at any time you the customer stop our engineer or a representative of us from carrying out an inspection of a faulty item then any warranty provided at the time of purchase will be void.
6. REFUNDS: Where applicable will only be issued upon the return of the original goods sold and will be issued within 14 days from the date the goods are received at by us. (Subject to goods being returned in the same condition as they were delivered)
   1. Under NO circumstances will we the seller be liable for any costs incurred by you the customer or purchaser if any part supplied by us is or becomes faulty and it deems your vehicle un-drivable. We are NOT liable for any garage bills, car hire or hotel fees that you may also incur. We take no responsibility for any damage caused to your vehicle or yourself by inadequate fitting or faulty parts.
7. DELIVERY: Delivery of any Engine, Gearbox or car part shall be made to the buyer’s nominated address or an alternative address i.e. a garage that you have requested us to deliver a purchased item. The buyer shall make all arrangements to take delivery of the goods whenever they are tendered for delivery. A 20% handling charge plus carriage costs for transportation costs back to us will be occurred by you the customer for any delivery other than via Royal Mail for any wasted delivery attempts.
   1. Although every effort is made to ensure goods arrive at scheduled time, no responsibility can be accepted where any such delay occurs. Acceptance of goods will confirm acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale.
8. SALES OF MOTOR SALVAGE: Many of the vehicles we sell come from insurance companies and in most cases are deemed uneconomic to repair and are classed as category C or category D salvage. Unless otherwise stated Cat C vehicles will need a "Vic Check" before you can obtain a log book for the said vehicle. All salvage vehicles are sold with no guarantee to their fitness of use and their mileage is disclaimed. The purchaser will be given every opportunity to inspect the salvage and is solely responsible for ensuring that it complies with all current Road Traffic Acts before being used on the public highway.
   1. We make every effort to ensure the photographs and descriptions are an accurate portrayal of the vehicle listed but they are merely provided as a visual depiction and no warranty is given or implied as to the vehicles condition and in no way is a full and exhaustive list of its faults whether at the time of sale or at any time after the photograph is published.
